EXUMER To Headline Mexico's 'Keep The Thrash' Festival
December 6, 2010German thrashers EXUMER have been confirmed to headline one additional festival date in Cuautitlan, Mexico on December 18. The Keep The Thrash festival will be second date on the band's itinerary and will feature some of the bands that will appear at the Thrash Or Die event in Tijuana, Mexico on December 17.
This Keep The Thrash date was added "due to the requests by Mexican fans and on the recommendation of the Mexican promoters who want to expose EXUMER to as many Mexican fans as possible," according to a press release.
Commented EXUMER vocalist Mem V. Stein: "We were surprised and delighted at the same time when the Mexican promoters asked us to add another stop in Mexico. It proves the band's popularity and cult status in Latin America. We will definitely try to cover as many countries in that region as possible when we return there next year. We have focused on playing live in Europe last and this year, which was important for the band's re-establishment as a whole. However, North and South America are on our agenda for 2011, and that is where we would like to play the majority of our live shows."
